Nancy Persons and Mike Roth lost their home in the Fountaingrove neighborhood of Santa Rosa, CA. I know Nancy and Mike through our work at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Nancy salvaged broken pieces of their botanical china set that survived the fire. This is what the original plates looked like.

Making Anthemis Landscape was truly a labor of love. The process of picking up the broken pieces in a disaster to make something new feels deeply symbolic and hopeful.
