Jazella's Noritake China

Jazella asked to have a frame made from the Noritake China that she was able to recover from her property.  The way the plates were fused together by the fire looked like it's own art piece.

Meints Wedding Frame

Cass and Miranda Meints were married in June of 2016 and unfortunately lost their home in the October 2017 fires. Their parents, Pamela & Taine, also lost their home in the fires and brought many remnants to make art from their broken treasures.

This picture frame is a wedding gift from Pamela & Taine who collected pieces of Tiffany blue porcelain that included a wedding cake plate from the property of their son & "daughter in love."

There will be a workshop at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts (SCA) for anyone that lost a house in the fires and would like to make a creation from the remnants that were recovered.

Donations have been given to this project and the SCA has graciously donated their painting/drawing studio. Other supplies have been given by the Ceramic Tile Center so there will be no fees required!

All supplies will be provided however you are also welcome to bring your own surface to work on. Other surfaces will be available such as wood panels, frames and small mirrors (9"x9"). No stepping stones please as this requires a different process.

Mosaic artists will be on hand to help guide the process. We will be limiting the class to about 15 people so please email soon to if you would like to attend.

Thank you!
